Who we are: Welcome to the People's Credit web connection. In 1988 the friendly folks at Peoples Credit Company, Inc. started purchasing auto finance contracts from auto dealers in the state of Oregon. People's Credit's original main branch was located in Gresham, Oregon. Over the years as we grew and expanded to all the states of the Pacific Northwest we moved in and out of several locations. As the years wore on we experienced more growing pains and opened three satellite branches in Oregon. In 2003 we continued to grow and began doing business in several more states across the country. We now serve auto dealers in fifteen states from coast to coast. In 2007 we closed our satellite branches and consolidated everything to one larger building located at 4950 NE 148th Avenue in Portland, Oregon, where we are now.

To better provide our customers the opportunity to establish new credit, we report to all three credit bureaus electronically, Equifax, TRW, and Experian. To make it easier for our customers to make their payments on time, Customers can make their payments directly to us through Western Union, or Money Gram (locations found at moneygram.com), or we can accept your debit or credit cards, or your personal check right at our website.
